Mike runs a refreshingly light hearted class, taking the yoga, not himself, seriously. What is also refreshing is to have a class led by a man who has been on a journey from total stiffness, and understands those of us who are on a similar journey. I love Iyenga yoga for the precision, and Mike's thoughtful instructions to the mixed ability class help me tremendously.

Mike has taught me that yoga is not about that aesthetically perfect shape that we all strive to achieve when doing a posture, but its more about the journey towards that posture, keeping mind and body focused and controlled. Mike's classes are great, it is a serious class, he keeps us all working hard but there is always room for laughter and banter. I do sometimes wonder how he manages to detect that slight slacking off when you think you can get away with it! I mean, how do you relax in downward dog! I like the fact that the class I attend is mixed ability - with skill and dexterity Mike takes you back to basics as well as encourages you to step out of your comfort zone. I have been practicing yoga for over 45 years and I can truthfully say that Mike's classes are some of the best that I have attended - thank you Mike

My private sessions with Mike are like no other yoga I have ever experienced …. this is what I have been looking for but didn’t realise!

Mike has an ability to relate where I get stuck on the mat in my pose connecting this to real life. Which is tough to hear however, its honest, clear, and rich in wisdom. It gives me the ability to have so much more to play on every level, than just shape making.

I have progressed more in the last 6 months, in my physical practise and my emotional wellbeing then in the last 10 years.

The yoga isn’t easy either, but it makes sense, and every session leaves me equipped to go home to practise and explore what we have been doing.

This is real yoga, it is steeped in intelligence, love and lots of hard work!
